Description: This is a VERY RARE UN-Open Vintage & Original 1954 Gumball bubble gum Machine Philadelphia Athletics A's M.L.B team sew on or iron on patch. This Patch measures about 2 inches in diameter & is clean and in Great condition in its ORIGINAL unopened Gumball machine capsule. Each capsule has a Info/Ad mascot Emblems and small piece of paper insert that has "Get all 24 different emblems". These Gumball machine patches were found in the attic of an estate sale of a family that owned a Candy store in New Jersey from the 1930's thru the 1970's along with thousands of other gumball prizes sitting unused and unopened for almost 70 years!! These patches were usually ironed on baseball caps, shirts or Jackets in the 1950's. These patches came in RED (baseball with seams with team name), Navy blue (baseball with seams & team name), YELLOW (batter with team name) & WHITE (batter with team name). Open patch pictured is an extra shown for example of the type inside the unopen capsule. The one you will receive is UN-OPENED.
