Born out of racing frustration after torrential rains wreaked havoc on the 1952 Mille Miglia and previous A6 models proved nearly impossible to handle. Drivers pushed Maserati for improvements, one of which was to fit a Maserati 2000 Sport with a closed "Berlinetta body from Pinin Farina. The resulting masterpiece was first presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1954. Only four of these were produced, making this not just a work of art, but indeed a rare one. Each poster is numbered in a limited edition of 1,000. Officially licensed by Maserati. Posters are beautifully rendered in richly colored inks on a substantial textured stock, combining features fromand the feeling offine photography, painting, and 3-D digital graphics into a unique presentation that truly brings the carssome showing some race grimeto life.
