Description: Old double page folding map illustrating the countries of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Persia and Afghanistan etc drawn to 1:17,000,000 scale by the Cartographic Department of the Clarendon Press and carefully extracted from a no longer usable 1952 edition of the Concise Oxford Atlas. Note; centre-fold border dividing the map into two parts. There are other maps on the reverse side of the page. The map has been carefully extracted from a no longer usable and dis-bound atlas book. Slight page corner/edgewear, no tears. It has no significant creasing, other than the centre-fold and has not generally suffered from any significant yellowing of the page although some ageing and wear is inevitable. Please note: this is an original vintage map extracted from an atlas and is not a modern copy. Dimensions: Approximately 14.5" x 10" (370 mm x 250 mm), including borders. Posting and Packaging: Carefully packaged in a boarded envelope and posted by Royal Mail. Happy to combine postage for multiple items purchased, where possible.
