Description: PICTURE POST MAGAZINE January 26th, 1952 - Vol 54, No 4Please scroll down for additional pictures These vintage Picture Post magazines are a wonderful resource of news and contemporary thought - giving insight to the news, politics and current affairs of the world. There are articles and lots of pictures, and these 1950s issues are particularly interesting! And the advertisements are great, too. In this issue:Cover: Earl of DalkeithFarmer Earl from the Border - John ScottFlying Croneras - Trapeze Artists - Harringay - Rudy Horn, Bertram Mills’ CircusCover Girl - Patti Carlin - John Robert Powers Modelling AgencyAnt War - Sir William Morgan, Derek Wragge MorleyA Street Car Named Desire - Stanley KowalskiSeven Girls go out to ski - Hilary Laing, Fiona CampbellHe Makes France Laugh - Raymond SavignacReading Room of the British MuseumFour of Everything - the Cole Quads The magazine is large format, measuring appoximately 34cm by 26cm, with 46 pages Condition: The magazine is in good vintage condition, showing reading wear and some creasing to the covers, plus the staples have rusted, making the pages loose and some staining damage around the staples, there is a newsagent’s delivery name written on the front cover - visible in the pictures below. Given that the magazine is over 70 years old, its condition is pretty good, but certainly not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
