Description: This is for an original 1952 Bowman #242 baseball card of rookie Philadelphia Athletics second baseman Everitt “Skeeter” Kell which has been encapsulated and graded by PSA as NM-MT 8. Skeeter Kell is the younger brother of 10 time All Star and Hall of Famer George Kell, and this would be his only appearance on a baseball card as 1952 would be his only season in the Major Leagues. That being said, this card is drop dead gorgeous with four razor sharp corners along with being centered just a touch to the left. This is one of only 36 PSA 8’s in the population report with only 1 PSA 9 and 1 PSA 10 higher. Not only that, but this card also comes from the scarcer and tougher high number series.
