Description: Old or new, the red Ferrari is just as eye catching! If you love Ferraris, then you have to respect this cover art! And this cover has great color to show that too. This is the April 1952 issue of Popular Mechanics. Lots of interesting articles on inventions that went nowhere and the beginnings of inventions that we still utilize today. Covers the Korean War and I was surprised to find out napalm was used in this conflict. Always associated it with the Vietnam War but there are pictures in this issue showing it being used almost 20 years before Vietnam. Also has a report on European cars. Hence, the cover having a Ferrari illustration. Plus, lots of vintage ads and other great articles that help you explore one of the most innovative periods in history. Very good condition for a magazine of this age - you will notice some damage on the top and bottom of the spine but that's about all the major issues with this magazine. The cover is in excellent condition and maintained great color!
