Description: This saw not only works but is quite the conversation piece and a slice of Sears Roebuck and Co. American tool history. This is a 1951 Craftsman Electric 6-1/2'' Hand Saw model # 207.25530. The saw is in amazing condition after 73 years on the planet. There is some minor surface rust on the saw foot and outer metal hard case, the original power cord casing is checked and badly compromised from age. It still works but needs to be replaced asap. Back in 1951 the power cord was referred to as the "trailing wire assembly" and was available for $2.00 according to the parts list price sheet! The saw works as-is however we strongly recommend a replacement cord if the saw is to be used for its intended purpose. The saw comes with the attached 6-1/2'' blade, 1 spare blade, 2 original tool wrenches, original Craftsman grease tube from 1951, saw edge ripping guide, the original metal hard case, original purchase receipt from 1951, Craftsman saw care guide pamphlet and the operating instruction manual with parts list. This would make a great shop display gift for the Craftsman enthusiast or any vintage power tool collector. Please ENLARGE and view the detailed pictures and judge condition for yourself prior to purchase.
