1951 Bugs Bunny Animated Alarm Clock Original Ingraham Warner Bros. Cartoons

Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE "BUGS BUNNY" ANIMATED ALARM CLOCK - 1951 Ingraham Co./Warner Bros. Cartoons, Inc. 4" x 4.5" x 2". Color litho on metal with egg white casing. The face has a great full figure image of Bugs in a reclining position. The colors are still relatively bright and very eye catching. The crystal is clear and free from any clouding. The case is in nice condition and has minimal dings / dents. Stamped into the back of the case is "INGRAHAM MADE IN BRISTOL, CONN. USA". All winding keys, set knobs and nuts are original to the clock. Unfortunately, the timepiece, alarm & animated mechanism are no longer operable. Originally, the animation consisted of Bugs moving his arm and biting a carrot. Regrettably, the arm piece is missing. That being said, we feel this scarce character clock still has great cartoon charm and nice overall eye appeal. Condition is considered only FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate paint wear on casing with moderate color fading on illustrated clock face. There is one upper right corner chip (approx. 1.25") on crystal. Face imagery is still bold & attractive. Overall, despite obvious defects, we feel this item is still in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos). It would make a rare & early find for the BUGS BUNNY and/or VINTAGE CHARACTER MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (6). U.S.A.
