Description: This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. In 1951, Bowman issued a set of 48 colorful, beautifully illustrated cards that addressed the public's enthusiasm for the Cold War, at its peak in the midst of the Korean War - "Fight the Red Menace." These boldly illustrated and garishly written cards are a perfect time capsule for those who might be curious about the country's mindset sixty years ago! The set has remained popular with collectors ever since. This is card #40 from the set, captioned "Frontier Patrol." Condition on this one is acceptable, with a couple of creases and some surface wear and heavy edge wear (see scans for condition). Pretty good for a card that's over sixty years old. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Payment is via PayPal; shipping is $2.60 for First Class Mail, and postage will be combined for multiple winnings.
