Description: 1950'S PROM GOWN / CHARACTER / EVENING GOWN FAIRY / PRINCESS WE SPECIALIZE IN OLDER VINTAGE MOVIE WARDROBE AND HAVE THOUSANDS OF REAL MOVIE WORN ITEMS IN CURRENT INVENTORY! This is a magnificent vintage Prom Dress / Evening Gown we are offering! It is done in lavender netting with white lace trim. The bodice, which is the lavender netting over pink satin, is worn off the shoulders but has thin pink spaghetti straps. There is a 'shawl' style wrap around the bust to back edged in the white lace and pleated at center front. The bodice has a slight pointed front at the hem and has stays with a metal zipper at the left side seam. The long pink satin skirt has 2 layers of lavender net (tulle?) over the satin. There are vertical rows of white lace down the skirt front and back as you can see in the pictures. There is a lot of wardrobe from this Costumer that was used by Paramount and 20th Century Fox! The gown measures APPROXIMATELY a 32"/34" bust and 24" waist. The skirt is 40" from waist to hem. NOTE: There is a spot on the back right side at the waist. Please keep in mind the age of this gown - I would recommend it be professionally cleaned! This is a beautiful collectable and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
