Description: The item for sale is a circa 1950's original black and white 11" x 14" photo picturing famed Brooklyn and LA Dodger manager Walt Alston. He is in the Brooklyn cap so we know the photo pre-dates the 1958 move to LA. Alston has inscribed the photo "To Ricky Best Wishes from Walt Alston." The autograph has lightened over the years but is still clearly legible to the naked eye. Comes with a JSA sticker affixed to the reverse authenticating the autograph but no matching card. I guarantee it will pass any 3rd party authentication service. I am pretty sure this is a Type 1 photo which are tough in this oversize version. The back is blank. The photo has some condition issues as shown in the pictures. Tack holes in corners and one corner missing. Still, overall very presentable. Don't miss out on this rare item. I also have J.
