Striking walnut veneers that are continuous across the three top sections of the main table. A 3.25" apron skirts the top, and there is a .75" step from the apron to the top surface. Square 2.75" legs are veneered to match the rest of the table. Beautifully and professionally restored in a natural Walnut color, which matches the table's original finish and shows the wood grain off to great advantage. The table is unique in that the two ends can be pulled apart without moving the base or legs, and the two leaves unfold from within. A single person can extend the table, unlike most dining room tables that require a person at either end to separate and to close. The tops of the leaves have been refinished as well, and the extended table has a surface that is color-consistent for the entire length. In near mint to mint condition. Structurally without issue. Some very minor apron edge veneer repairs, but fortunately, very little issues with the veneer before restoration. The leaves operate smoothly. Original Herman Miller label on the underside of one of the leaves. A rare piece. Measurements: 54" long, 36" wide and 29.5" tall. Each leaf is 14" wide. Total length with the leaves is 82" long.
