Description: First of all you should know that these images were all extracted from a massive photographers estate in Clearwater Florida. Almost all of the images here were taken by George Fulmer, a professional photographer for over 75 years You’re getting 12 professional press photo packets with 28 photos & the negatives to accompany them, in the original numbered packs. All original George Fulmer photographs I would simply describe this lot as people doing things. Events & gatherings. It’s a great little package for re-printing and practicing There are brief descriptions on the top of each packet and all of these photos were taken and developed by our photographer between the years of 1951 and 1954 I’ve pictured them all here. George loved to teach & would’ve loved for these to go to a school or a practicing photographer who would use them for teaching & learning. Found stored in a cabinet in the photographers estate. All are good for reprints. Kodak safety film. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for some parts of the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. Parts of the collection are being held together by the estate for exhibition purposes in the future. Holding a piece from this collection will be rare. Much of the contents from the estate were taken by the historical society before we were asked to go inside. The photographs we hold from this estate, include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for; from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs, some possibly from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of his war era photographs that we were able to save. The photos that are being offered here, were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. George did a lot of work for the newspapers so you'll see things pertaining to Clearwater Florida, much of it from the early 1950s. Being in the same location next to the Clearwater courthouse for over half a century, he was also entrusted with and gifted many photographs that go back to the late 1800s that were left behind and are currently in our collection.
