There is an inset plan of Indianapolis, a summary of traffic rules, and a transcontinental driving map of the United States on the reverse side. This map was published by the Phillips Petroleum Company of Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1950 and is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 9-X.
