The Green & Red Stripe cards are Catalogued as JRM 8 type B in the Japanese Baseball Card Catalog. There are 5 different subsets within the JRM 8 group. Osamu Mihara 三原Mihara is in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.He was born on Shikoku Island, and attended Waseda University. while at Waseda, he played on the Japanese All Star Team that went up against the US All Stars in 1934. He was the first player ever signed by the Tokyo Giants, making him the first professional player in Japan. He only played three seasons with the team, before going into the Military for the next eight years.
