Description: For sale is an original Tucker 48 radio with Motorola receiver. This was attached at one point in , then removed. Please see the pictures of this listing for the best reference to aesthetic condition.. There's ample wiring in the back of this unit to splice in any harness the buyer might choose. I can't guarantee either part, but from what I understand, these have been in storage from the 1960s. The push button bakelite head unit is in very nice shape. It can be buffed out to look near new. The a.m. dial on top functions correctly, and the needle moves up and down through the stations. All six of the presets work. And the volume knob seems to be correct, too. As for the Motorola receiver, there appears to extra wiring inside, though I can't be sure. The knob turns correctly, and it's overall and very good condition. If I had to guess, I would think this radio does work. However, it would be best if someone would go over it before attempting to use it. I'm selling it as is, without a guarantee. But given how it was removed, I don't know why else they'd store it if it didn't function. Please message me with any questions. This will ship by fully insured mail. Thanks for looking.
