The map of the Maritimes is on the reverse side, along with inset plans of Augusta, Bangor, Lewiston, Montreal, Quebec, and Portland, including the harbor area and Back Cove . The map was distributed by the Tide Water Associated Oil Company in 1948 to promote its Tydol Flying A gasoline and Veedol motor oil. It is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 10-V.
