Burn, shown here before their marriage in 1948, have agreed to separate "for the present," she said in a brief announcement in New York today. Burn was the pilot of a plane that crashed in 1943 in Portugal. Both he and Miss Froman were severely injured but he held her above the icy water for nearly an hour before they were rescued.
