This print is a fine example of the lithograph printers art. Paper is thick, textured and in good condition and would look wonderful once framed. Sheet size 18 cms x 23 cms. The print area is in the centre of the sheet which provides ample scope for trimming if required. The rear of the print is blank. Sold unmatted. The artist - John Gould FRS (14 September 1804 – 3 February 1881) was an English ornithologist and bird artist. He published a number of monographs on birds, illustrated by plates that he produced with the assistance of his wife.
