Description: Rolling chassis removed from a '49 3/4 ton Chevy truck. The frame was cleaned and painted years ago and is very nice. There is some light surface rust starting where the paint was thin but no heavy rust or rust through. There's little to no pitting in the rails, crossmembers look great. There's even a visible factory stamp on the rear crossmember. Includes rear and front axles, and at least one original wheel. Tires hold air. The backing plates have no brake hardware or wheel cylinders. To the best of my knowledge, the frames interchange from 47-53 with the exception of a difference in the cab mount on 47-48. 54-55 first series cabs will also fit, but the later beds may not without some spacers.
