This drawing shows how the "tilt regulator" will bank the car inward just enough to compensate for the pull of centrifugal force. This mechanism can tilt the car as much as six degrees within two seconds after the train reaches a curve. Should the train have to stop on a banked turn, the tilt regulator will hold the car perfectly level. Even when the train rounds curve at high speeds, passengers will be able to stroll down the aisles without difficulty. The revolutionary new stabilizing system developed at the Westinghouse Research Laboratories, is the direct off spring of the famed tank gun stabilizer which won Doctor Clinton R.
