Description: A rare 1946 Wheat Penny with the "L" stamping flaw that puts it right on the rim. Another oddity is the lack of a mint location designation stamped on it. Maybe neglected in the first year after WWII? (see photos). 3.0 grams (pure copper back then?) I see some of these pennies for over $1000 dollars here on Ebay. But I'm starting the bidding at only $500 because I came across this beauty while just walking down the street! Bid with confidence as I have 100% positive feedback for accurate descriptions, secure packing and fast shipping. Thanks for looking!
