Description: Rare Lamberton Scammell North Carolina State College plate - Freshman Quadrangle. It is one of the rarer designs in a series of 6 plates produced in 1946 for the NC State College Foundation Inc. Around the rim are the crest and other images depicting the college and Raleigh, North Carolina. On the back, the plate is marked rose (pink) transferware on Ivory China along with the imprinted signature JW Harrelson, Chancellor of the College Designed by Jehu D Paulson, Made In America.
