The test is to prove the efficiency of his heavy gloves, after each operation of dismantling, reassembling and repairing the gun, the temperature of his fingertips is recorded by remote control. Tiny wires attached to all parts of his body transmit his skin temperature to a receiving board outside of the steel-lined room where any kind of weather is manufactured at will.
