Featuring a Belsnickle style Santa in red wool felt cape with chenille accented hood, long wool batting beard and holly leaf accenting his red cellophane over foiled cardboard base, he has a nicely molded celluloid face with hand painted features. Designed so that the base removes for inserting or accessing candy or similar goodies, condition is very nice with minor darkening to the chenille trim and wool beard, typical age related display and storage wear, a bit of lifting to the red cellophane, a repaired tear on one foot and the base is stiff, making it difficult to open - no tears, holes or major damage - he stands independently for display.
