The cover uses a pre-printed U.S. Department of Agriculture reply envelope, which is specifically directed to the Crop Reporting Board. The cover has three cancellations on the front reading May 5, 1936 (Columbia, MO (1)) and three different cancellations on the reverse reading May 5, 1936 (St. L. MO. & Kans. City R.P.O. (RMS)), May 6, 1936 (Pittsburgh, PA Air Mail Field (RMS)), and May 7, 1936 (_______). On the front, there are pre-printed, red-ink notations of "Special C," "Expedite," and "Truck and Canning Crop Reports," although this final notation is crossed out and replaced with a hand-written "General." The front also has a blue-ink log-in stamp reading "Received, U.S. Department of Agriculture, May 7, 1936, Post Office." The cover is franked with one 6c (Scott #C19) and one 10c (Scott #E15) stamps. Clearly, this was a very important letter! The cover is in excellent, clean condition.
