1935 Silver Jubilee Straits Settlements 8c on correct rate cover to England

Description: This is the 8 cents stamp paying the Imperial letter rate, here to England. The stamp is cancelled SINGAPORE - the cancel was applied in a lop-sided manner and the date is not clear, but i think it must have been 7 January 1936 as there is a WINCHESTER transit mark on the reverse of 3 February 1936, no doubt applied when the item was forwarded. There is a small hole in the cover to the right of the deleted adress "The grange". The cover was opened at the top, somewhat untidily.I hope the general condition is apparent from the 600 dpi scan, but please do contact me with any queries. (my reference 1497) VATI am not registered for VAT and do not need to charge it. However, Ebay sometimes adds VAT to invoices to European countries, Australia, New Zealand and some states of the USA at various different rates. I have no control over this and derive no benefit if this happens, in fact I lose as Ebay charge their percentage on the tax as well as the actual price and postage.
