Description: This is a sale for a 100% original SCORECARD & LINEUP Program for the University of Michigan at the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers for the 1934 game. This program is in VERY GOOD condition. This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons: * First and foremost, this is NOT the official program. As mentioned in my 1936 official program listing, do not let a traditional programs fool you, early Minnesota games are interesting as many groups (Alumni News, News, even local businesses) printed what looks like a 'program' but they are not the official. This is an alternate scorecard/lineup program. * The program even features Michigan's MVP and future President of the U.S. Gerald Ford. * The program also features All-American's Willis Ward (UM) and Frank Larson, Bill Bevan, Pug Lund (all 3 consensus), Stan Kostka, Ed Widseth, & Phil Bengston (MN) * This game marked another Battle for THE Little Brown Jug, the first and oldest trophy in college football. * This scorecard was barely viewed, the spine is still tight and when open it won't lay completely flat. NOTE - I Just scored many Michigan programs ranging from 1907 to 1949. Please reach out if you have specific requests!!!! I am looking for several ticket stubs to this rivalry: 1971, '69, '65, '48, '36, '32, & '29 - your help will be rewarded significantly. The less than ideals are: minimal.
