Description: A nice naval cover mailed from the U.S.S. Rizal, a U.S. destroyer. Franked with United States Scott #702, the 2ยข Red Cross stamp from 1931. The stamp is tied to the cover by a three-bar U.S.S. Rizal postmark dated September 18, 1931, with "LAST DAY" and "SERVICE" between the bars. This ship was sold for scrapping in 1932 due to restrictions and requirements of the London Naval Treaty. This cover measures 153mm x 86mm.
