Description: This 7 x 11" photo been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it with glossy format on quality photo paper. Please note that the photo is printed from a .tif file, much sharper than .jpg or gif. file. This view is of Webhannet Golf Course, still in operation today in Kennebunk Beach, Maine. Wonderful scene of the starter or caddy master in his plus-fours. The trio just taking off appear to be one man and two women, probably unusual for the 1930's.
