Description: Circa 1939. Wonderful set of 3 American Hickory furniture made by the Old Hickory Furniture Company from Martinsville, Indiana and marked by the branded. Old Hickory in the legs and with the early copper Bruce Tag to show they were finished with Bruce preserve all those years ago. Settee with matching open arm chairs. Showing a woven seat & back with a box form double stretchers under each. Beautiful set for the collector or for your home. The settee shows some minor wear, breakage to the center of the original woven seat, does not detract from appearance and remains very strong and sturdy. It also has a lighter arm due to the finish being worn on one arm. The patina on the wood is crackled and alligatored and so very rich with age. Measurements are approximate the loveseat is 46 inches wide by 34 1/2 inches tall and 24 inches deep chairs are approximately 23 inches wide 34 1/2 inches tall and 22 inches deep. Set's like these are getting hard to find and make a wonderful living room, family room or covered porch setting. This set will require your carrier or local pickup.
