Description: Up for sale is a 4 x 6" photo that has been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it with glossy format on quality photo paper. The back of the photo is blank. These photos have been printed from a .tif file, much sharper than .jpg or .gif files. This view is of The 18th Hole, Webhannet Golf Club, Kennebunk Beach, Maine. Wonderful scene of several golfers and their caddies, putting on the 18th green. The big building in the background is the current clubhouse! Good condition, but this negative had several unremovable scratches as you can see in the scan. Nonetheless, this is a great 1920's/30's scene, perfect for framing!
