Description: Harker Hall Pottery Ceramic Porcelin Rolling Pin that came around 1935 - 1940's - American Art Pottery - Art Deco Era. Platinum trim around both handles. Multi Colored Flowers on one end. The end of one of the handles was sealed with a cork. The cork is no longer in the handle. This opening was designed so you could pour cold water to facilitated the dough-rolling process by keeping such items as puff pastry cool and the water gave the rolling pin more heft for pushing and rolling the dough. Estimated to be 15” L. It does have light crazing as it is common with vintage/aged pieces, a few tiny manufacturer flaws, and a light stain probable from age or usage. See pictures for more details. Sold as pre-owned but in excellent condition with no damage. DISCLAIMER: Vintage/pre-owned items often show some signs of wear (naturally occurring manufacturer's defects, slight surface scratching, or wear consistent with normal use).
