Description: Interesting Vintage/Antique book on cartoon drawing, authored by E.C. Matthews, with 200 Illustrations by Zim. Published in 1928 by Frederick J. Drake, but there is a paste-over where this publisher is identified on the title page. This paste-over states, "Trade Supplied By J.S. Ogilvie...", suggesting that this was a distribution attribution, not a publishing attribution. The book overall is in GOOD CONDITION. There is moderate to heavy corner board wear, light edge wear, some, soil marks on front board around the subtitle. There are 162 solidly bound pages with no previous owner marks (a few pencil markings on front endpaper were erased). However, there was a moisture stain on page tops which impinged a bit onto the top edges of pages. It was light through about page 60, and only faintly seen after that. This book is subtitled, A Complete Course in Cartooning.
