In the original very scarce clamshell box which is very rubbed and worn with the top joint coming apart but relatively easily to repair. Pagination: xvi, 352pp. Provenance: no inscriptions or bookplates. Approximately 11 ¾ inches tall (30cm). Condition Report Externally Spine – very good condition – gilt titles to a black label, gilt bands and Olympic decoration to the compartments.Joints – very good condition – gently worn and rubbed, sound.Corners – very good condition – rubbed and worn.Boards – very good condition – publishers leather boards, with gilt crest to the front board.Page edges – good condition – top edge darkened gilt, others untrimmed and tanned.Clamshell box – poor condition – structurally still intact (just) with the cloth stained marked and entirely lacking from one of the joints which is broken but could be repaired.See above and photos.
