Condition: Good ITEM DESCRIPTION Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved antique issue of Science and Invention in Pictures magazine! A great find from a local New England estate! This scarce antique magazine is over 98 years old! Nicely preserved overall! Gilt embellished front cover still shines brightly despite age! Exterior also shows some light soiling and rubbing, some creasing and general wear around the extremities, including bumping to the corners. The spine also shows a bit of soiling and wear, but the issue number, title and publication date can still be read. Internally, this volume is in good shape overall. There is some cracking to both the front and rear hinges but the covers remain attached. Likewise all the page groupings remain securely attached to the stapled binding. Staples show just minor rusting as pictured. This volume feels sturdy overall. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from bookplates, signatures, inscriptions and library markings. The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. There is some typical age-related toning to the pages, the odd spot of light soiling, and some minor staining in the margins from early exposure to moisture, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.
