Description: Fabulous antique Weis Manufacturing Co. (Monroe, Michigan) oak wood desktop business ledger with original alphabetical dividers and ledger pages. Most pages are blank, some have business records handwritten, all with the year 1924. This 100-year-old ledger appears to have been from a car repair business. The bottom cover is larger than the top and measures just under 10" long, 5.25" wide; the entire piece is 2" thick. The piece is in good expected antique condition: ~the thick-stock blue cover page and first blank ledger page have expected foxing/spotting~alpha tabs are darkened~most pages are in very good condition, a couple have age "lacing" or a rough edge~the wood cover is missing one foot and has a few scratches, a bit of edge wear, and one chipped corner.
