Description: 1921 Mercury Dime, key date. Very Fine+ details overall, old cleaning as is typical. The strike on the Obverse is not great, possibly due to that die being repolished to keep it in service after clashing; this is mentioned in David Lange's book on the series. Sharp Reverse with strong central detail, and some remaining luster around the rim. This was probably an EF coin before the cleaning. That was a long time ago and the color is more or less normal now although you can still tell if you know what to look for (this will not certify in a non-details holder in my opinion). Guaranteed genuine, backed by our firm’s 80+ years in the business, plus all the industry “garden salad” (PCGS, CAC, NGC, ANACS, ANA, etc., etc.). 0611-03 Please Note: We require payment within four days of purchase, unless you contact us for other arrangements in advance of purchase.
