Description: 1920s Silk and lace wedding dress, veil with wax flowers, bra, shoes, trousseau. In this grouping, which was originally together there is a dress, bra, silk stockings, belt, veil with wax flowers, and shoes. The veil is cathedral length and the lace is shredding. There are two clusters of wax flowers that measure about 2-4 inches wide. The shoes are leather about a size 6, they are in wearable but worn condition. The company name is Sterling. The dress is exceptionally beautiful. The top portion is a creamy silk and near the neckline on the left side is glass beading. More of this glass beading is around the waist just on the right side. A few of the beads are missing. The dropped waistline is adorned with tiered of fine lace and there is boning on the sides, panniers, to create the flapper shape we are accustomed to. There is no label. We have not washed the dress, there is no shredding, but there is a 1/2 inch hole under the left arm. If you look closely you may see light discoloration, but it is minimal There are silk stockings included, a thick ribbon belt, and a silk bra. The bra has some issues in the lace, please view the photos. This piece is in very delicate wearable condition but would do best displayed in a collection. It is sold As Is.
