Description: Here is one of the most unique, and I admit mysterious, odd items I have ever come across, what appears to be a bicycle frame name badge for an early 1900s, possibly 1920s, bicycle named the royal, made in Amana society, High, Iowa. The Amana colony in Iowa currently has a population of 388, down from about 4:22 and 2010. A very small town. But I cannot understand is where high, Iowa is, or whether anyone ever made a bicycle called The Royal in on a man of society in iowa. So I admit I am completely stumped. But when I can guarantee is that this is a very early ornate bicycle name badge, with a beautiful black and red enameled detailed badge which measures about 3 in tall by about 1 1/4 inches wide, curved, with a hole in the top and the bottom for a fixing to the frame of a bike. The name Royal is enameled in red and the center surrounded by gold tone spokes with black enamel in the center to make the spokes and wheel noticeable. Amana society appears at the top along with high, Iowa toward the bottom. This beautiful vintage tin ornate early enamel "Royal" name badge, Amana society, hi, iowa, has to be from a bicycle, but it must be an exceedingly scarce bicycle as I can find nothing on it. Please review photos and feel free to ask questions. Wonderful early Royal bicycle name badge name plate, Amanda society, hi, iowa, a terrific addition to any vintage bicycle or bike related name badge or production item advertising promotional or bicycle attachment related outdoor sports or bicycle riding related memorabilia collection.
