Description: 1920’s hallmarked silver hip flask. I cannot make out the date letter but the WB&S mark was only in existence between 1920-1930. The body and cap are both solid hallmarked silver. The lid holder has come apart if you look at the pictures you will see. This is fixable. Small size, it holds 2 1/2 fluid ounces aprox. 1/8 pint. Half moon shaped body so that it sits well in a pocket. Made by William Base & Sons with the cap and body are both hallmarked in Birmingham with the date letter for 1928. It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup. Approximate measurements Height 10.5 cm Width 8 cm Depth 2.2 cm The silver weight is 117 grams. This piece unfortunately does have a rather large dent and some smaller ones too, the cap holding part has broken but in the right hands this I would imagine could be mended.
