Description: Phenomenal pair of antique bookends. Circa 1920s Heavy cast metal winged Cherub or Fairy Child with a butterfly. There is also a small frog at the base of each bookend. The casting is excellent and these bookends were made by Ronson. They have an antique Dark Bronze finish and the backs are book shaped with gold gilt pages and a decorated book spine as pictured. They have the original green felt bottoms that show wear. Each measures approx. 4 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" deep and 6 1/4" in height. The pair weighs a hefty 7 1/2 pounds before packing. There is no major damage to this antique set. I did notice one corner of the book back has a very small bruise on the edge and they could use a good dusting or cleaning.
