One is for Silver Lake Solid Braided Tiller Rope, Newtonville, Massachusetts, selling all kinds of hemp, cord and related materials. The second ad shows a dapper young man sporting Adams Company's Special $20 Suit, "made to your measure in two days, if necesary." Wow, pretty expensive for 1918 but maybe not, if you can afford a yacht. This company of tailors was on Washington Street in Boston. The third ad on this page is for the Peterson Elliptical Speed Propellor, made by O.P. Peterson, Portland, Maine. On the other side is some information regarding the navigation of several locales in Maine. On the next page you can see three more ads. The first is for Massachusetts Baths, Boston. "Turkish, Russian, Electrical", and more. Physician in attendance! Note special hours for men and for women. The second ad is for Pyrene Fire Extinguishers, Boston, "especially designed to deal with fire danger on motor boats." The third ad on the page is for Moore's American Fountain Pen Company, Boston. Nice graphic of the pen that won't leak, and is safe any way you carry it! On the back of this page is information about navigating several locales in Massachusetts. On another page is an ad for Bliss Brothers Marine Hardware, Boston, offering yacht and launch trimmings, anchors, oars, chocks, cleats, brass polish and much more. At the top of the page and on the back is more information regarding navigating some Massachusetts locations. On the last page is an ad for Perfex Ignition, Samson Electric Company, Canton, Massachusetts. On the back of this page is information about operating your gasoline engine. Each page measures about 6 x 9" and all are in very good condition, with a few dog-eared corners or tiny edge nicks, slight folds, but all complete and totally readable. These pages were removed from the 1918 Yachtsman's Guide, so the pages show where the staples were and the pages are loose and not bound. Ads are very frame-able!
