Description: On offer is this quality, antique, ladies' French 950 silver and cut crystal hip flask.Elongated thumb print/vertical cuts to the body of the flask. A removable 950 silver cup, collar and lid. With original glass stopper.Originally it would been for 'Eau de Mélisse' - a comforting and invigorating formula for digestive problems, fatigue & motion sickness for the upper class lady. Now a nip of your favourite alcohol can be kept in your hand bag.All the silver is hallmarked with 950 minerva mark (ie. better than 925 sterling). A maker mark is partially struck on the collar, but clearly visible on the base as that of Charles Barrier, active in Paris between 1915 and 1923.Height of 12cm. In good antique condition - No chips or cracks to the glass. There is a dent to the lid, otherwise the silver is in good condition. Please consider photos & video.
