Description: 1912 D LIBERTY "V" NICKEL NGC MS 63 SUPER TOUGH SEMI KEY DATE WITH LOVELY SATINY PALE COPPER AND FULLY STRUCK SURFACES. This is the first and only Liberty nickel minted in Denver. A low mintage (for the era) of 8,474,000 and with the crazy low mintage 1912 S providing a diversion, it seems the 1912 D Lib was mostly swept into the avenues of commerce. These usually come pretty nice, this one is better than the norm. Tough date.
