Description: Selling a set of Real (not laminate) Bastogne Walnut double diamond checkered grips. This was made in the USA by Wood Caliber located in Michigan. Wood caliber is a high end grip maker and still in existence. They manufacture high end 1911 grips that start at 85 dollars and up. You can check their website (woodcaliber.com) All their grips have their logo at the back of each grip (see pictures) for authenticity. Wood caliber is known for their high end quality and superb craftsmanship. This is a used item but in good condition. Used to be mounted on my Citadel which had the lower profile ambidextrous safety lever. The grips have the regular ambi cut to accommodate an ambi safety together with an ambi cut on top right grip to accommodate an ambi with a lower lever profile like the Citadel/Rock Island model. Since I no longer have the Citadel I will not be using this. If you own a Rock Island/Citadel with an ambi safety, this will really enhance that pistol. Has a beautiful shade of reddish brown and black streaks on both grips. Also has the thumb scoop for easier access to magazine button. Everything is straight no warpage. Has a some handling marks (see pictures). The checkering is still sharp and grippy. Please see all pictures. Pictures 1 to 8 reflect the actual colors and shading of the grips.
