Description: This1910s "Main Brace" litho "picnic basket" tobacco tin, measuring 4 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 7" is in good condition with a couple of small dents, some superficial rust on the bottom interior, and some age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge and handles are in excellent working order. The tobacco was manufactured by the J.G. Dill Tobacco Company, Richmond, VA in Factory 25, 2nd District, VA. This attractive, colorful yellow faux basket weave tin with red lettering is in the style of a double handled picnic basket.
