E. E. Gynild as president Rev. Hans C. Caspersen as secretary History: In 1897 the Lutheran Free Church was formed as a Lutheran denomination in Minnesota and North Dakota. It was meant as a “free church in a free land.” Endre E. Gynild was president of the Lutheran Free Church with his terms of office in the years 1899-1901, 1905-1907, 1909-1910, 1912-1914, 1916-1918, and 1923-1928. In 1963 the Lutheran Free Church merged with the American Lutheran Church. CONDITION: Normal letter folds.
