The majority of the text of this work originally appeared Barrie's 1902 novel 'The Little White Bird', in chapters 13 to 18. The novel 'Peter and Wendy' was not published until 1911, with the play - first performed in 1904 - not published until 1928.A beautifully illustrated first edition of J. Small area of fading to fore edge of front board. Internally, firmly bound. Areas of significant spotting to first and last few leaves of text.
