Keller (Illustrated by) Publisher: Doubleday, Page & Company, New YorkPublication Date: 1905Edition: 1st Edition Condition: Good ITEM DESCRIPTION Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume by Thomas Dixon! A great find from a local New England estate! This scarce antique first edition is over 119 years old! 1st Edition. In great condition overall! Original publisher cloth binding shows light wear for age, including rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, toning to the spine, some general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some rubbing and soiling to the page edges. Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume! The title lettering on the spine can still be read from the shelf despite rubbing. Internally, this volume is in great shape as well. Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding. Sturdy and square! Former owner’s signatures visible on the front pastedown endpaper. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from bookplates, inscriptions and library markings. The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. There is typical age-related toning to the pages, and the odd spot of light soiling or foxing, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout! Make sure to see the additional photographs in the description below for a thorough look through this antique tome. 374 pages with publisher ads in back.
